The April/May/June issue of “Hydro” magazine is online. The edition highlights the “Directory and yearbook of the Brazilian basic sanitation sector”, on page 10, a survey that brings updated numbers of the water and sewage sector and shows that most of companies surveyed confirmed the intention to increase resources in 2019 and use new technologies. See on page 16 the article “Speed variation in motor pumps of pressurizing systems”, analyzing the potential of reduction in energy consumption in water pressurizing systems with the speed variation of the motor pump assembly. Furthermore, on page 40, the article “Reform of water treatment equipment and systems”, showing that, in the economic and water crises, companies have opted to extend the life of their equipment. For this to be done in the best possible way, some care must be taken. This issue also brings the update “Pumps”, “Water flow meters” and “Filtration systems” buyers’ guides.
