The November issue of “Eletricidade Moderna” is online. The article “Functional testing of battery charging stations”, on page 22, shows that electromobility raises new questions about battery charging infrastructure. For example, how does a charging station perform? A customer vehicle test would be a sample test. See on page 32 the article “Technological development of LED optics”, analyzing the construction of lenses and reflectors with complex high gloss microfaceted surfaces, which provide precise and without obfuscate light distribution, as well as homogeneous chromatic mixtures, enabling the creation of luminaires of minimal dimensions and innovative design. Furthermore, on page 44, the article “A dry insulation system for HV in extreme environments”, which describes the technology, design concepts and advantages of dry insulation for HV current transformers, which have provided benefits for 35 kV to 600 kV power grids in the last 20 years, and has a history of implementation in real networks, as well as improvements that have allowed the expansion of HV application to UHV and to integrate online monitoring of conditions.
