Highlights
The June issue of RTI is online. "Fire protection in data centers" is highlighted on page 24, showing that a data center fire, in addition to the loss of high-value equipment, is the loss of information, interruption of operations and damage to the company's image. See on page 38 in the article "Ethernet cables e connectors for industrial environments", which show that in an industrial environment the cables and connectors can be exposed to extremes of temperature, humidity, vibration, dust and EMI - electromagnetic interference. And on page 46 the article "IoT – Internet of things", which asks if we are ready for this technology. It is possible to simply make estimates, but there are some important factors that must be considered in designing the future infrastructure, which will be driven by billions of IoT connected devices. This issue brings also the update "Products for FTTH – Fiber to the home", “Raceways, trays and cable management” and "Products for IP CCTV" buyers’ guides.
