Highlights
The September issue of “RTI” is online. The edition highlights the special coverage “Telecom Submarine Cables”, on page 18, a complete overview of submarine cables that contribute or will contribute in Brazil in the coming years, with information on distances, points of presence and capacity. See on page 42 the report “RTI holds congresses of providers and data centers in Ribeirão Preto”, covering the “RTI 8th Internet Service Providers Conference and Trade Show” & “10th RTI Data Center Conference” held in August, bringing together more than 900 participants in the Center of Events of Ribeirão Shopping, in Ribeirão Preto, SP. Furthermore, on page 54, the article “Cooling in data center”, presenting an overview of cooling elements of data center with the main functionalities inherent in a DCIM. It’s estimated that technology can reduce the energy consumption of a data center by 20%. This issue brings also the update “Fiber splicing machines”, “Digital radios” and “Management softwares for ISPs” buyers’ guides.
