Highlights
The March issue of RTI magazine is now online. On page 18 is the article “Raised floor vs. Conventional floor - Part I”, showing that raised floors have been widely used in data centers, because they facilitate the location of under floor pipes and wiring, are part of the cold air distribution system and guarantee a good image of the installation. See page 36 the article “PoE and fiber optics integration”, describing how to use fiber optic cabling to overcome the 100 meter distance limitation of copper network (UTP) cabling. And on page 58 the article “Why authentication is important”, which shows the security measures currently employed by network equipment to limit the infiltration of malicious users and potentially harmful electronic content. Also in this edition has updated the guides of “Engineering, contractors and technical services companies” and “Digital radios”.
